Job Description:

P&W Compression Systems group is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and energetic Component Integrated Team (CIPT) Leader for Middletown, CT or E. Hartford, CT locations. The CIPT Leader will have complete ownership of all aspects of engineering, production, procurement, quality, and customer service of the product and will be responsible to the engine Integrated Product Management Team, Module Center Management (production) and Engineering leadership.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute large scale plans, and present status and issues to all levels within the company as well as externally to the airframer and airline customers.

  • Lead large multi-functional P&W teams of both direct-reporting employees and responsible employees that report to supporting organizations.

  • You will work with the Program Chief Engineer and the Program Management Office and is responsible for handling the budget and ensuring CPMS landmarks are met.

  • You will provide leadership to the entire value stream from conceptual studies through hardware and ensures that all technical and business requirements are met for the module.

  • You will lead root cause investigation ensuring engineering changes are processed in a timely manner to address field issues.

  • You work closely with SEV and ensuring module requirements are met to support the EVP and flights tests.

  • Work closely with suppliers, in collaboration with Global Supply Chain, ensuring all producibility issues are addressed in a timely manner and that hardware is delivered per MRP.

  • As a supervisor, you are responsible for employee satisfaction and development and will work with the team to create annual objectives, hold Performance Connections and salary merit discussions, as well as ensure that employee personal development plans are created and executed.

  • Advanced degree in engineering and/or MBA is preferred

  • Proven strong team leadership and strategic leadership skills.

  • Highly motivated, able to work across organizational boundaries and have proven exceptional customer focus.

Education:
