If so, we want to hear from you! Supplier Quality Assurance is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Representative . This position covers the Midwest US Region in Michigan area and reports to the SQA Supervisor Midwest Region.
On-Site Quality Support and First Article Inspection Approval
UPPAP Follow Up Actions
PFMEA Event Participation and Corrective Actions
Support PW initiatives throughout the supply base
Support Quality Initiatives in the Supply Base as required
Supplier Root Cause and Corrective Action review and approval
Frequent travel is required to various Suppliers in Michigan and other Midwestern states
Travel may be up to 50%
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in Supplier Auditing, Quality/Development and/or Quality areas, OR Master’s Degree and 3+ years of same experience
Knowledge of P&W specifications and AS9100 requirements preferred
Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action
Familiarity with shop operations, work instructions and quality documentation
Familiarity with various inspection tools and techniques including Layout Inspection is preferred
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and procedures
Ability to interact with all levels of management
Ability to effectively manage time and work with minimal supervision
Experience with tools such as MS Office or similar spreadsheet, presentation and word processing applications
PPAP, FMEA, RCCA and Control Plan experience desirable
Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities
High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement
Highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and pursue continued growth and developmental opportunities
Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner
