This position is for a Co-op position in the Global Services and Engineering [GSE] organization. GSE develops innovative repair solutions to observed & predicted distress on components for all P&W jet engines in order to economically return the engine to service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Part of a multi-discipline Integrated Product Team [IPT] to establish repair design requirements and ensure repairs are safe, durable, and meet the quality requirements of the Original Engineering Manufactured [OEM] parts.Assist in researching operating environments, functionality of components, their interactions with mating parts, and develop repair strategies which will return damaged parts back to service.Assist in creating technical documents that will provide engineering requirements for repairs, including a high level sequence of operations forming the basis for manufacturing operation sheets.Participate in the prototyping of new repairs as needed.

Pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.

Candidate must be a US Citizen. Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited Engineering School. Experience in Unigraphics, or equivalent 3D modeling software, is a plus.
