The Midwest Region of Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly driven Sales professional to sell service and maintenance contracts for elevators and escalators in the Louisville, KY area.

The primary focus of this position is selling service and maintenance contracts at required price and margin level to obtain new units on maintenance agreements and to further develop sales territory. At the same time, you will retain current maintenance agreements through relationship building and customer service. Using broad product knowledge of elevator/escalator lines and service contracts, you will also provide repair and maintenance estimating.

As a Service Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Estimating, negotiating, and selling service and maintenance contracts to obtain new units on maintenance agreements.

  • Retaining current maintenance agreements through good customer service and selling on factors other than price.

  • Providing customers with basic elevator consultations and technical guidance.

  • Monitoring collection of accounts.

  • Position requires 50% local travel to customer visits & industry-related events.

Qualification:

  • Prefer 3+ years of sales experience

  • Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization

  • Customer focused with ability to interact with customers professionally

  • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment

  • Results driven with exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities

  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office product suite

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required
