RESPONSIBILITIES:

We currently have an opportunity for Pricing Analyst to join the Sales and Pricing organization for our Residential HVAC business. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for account management for a complex sales channel; including fielding price-related customer inquiries (e.g. price negotiations, cost-benefit analysis, financial impact analysis, competitive analysis of price structures). This position also performs analysis and support of pricing / marketing programs to ensure market competitiveness across a wide breadth of brands and product lines as well as external customer support in a 2-step distribution environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple requests from a large spectrum of customers and brands, ensuring regional alignment and competitiveness

  • Providing analytical support for in-depth strategic pricing projects for specific business segments/product lines.Serving as liaison with sales and marketing on pricing decisions

  • Executing pricing initiatives including price increases, realignments, consolidation efforts and price level reviews

  • Providing high level of customer service and providing accurate, consistent and timely responses

  • Providing comprehensive customer support and regional account management for assigned distributors and recommend price quotations or decisions for specific projects and maintain day-to day price levels for each distributor’s market based upon research and data analysis

  • Conducing financial analysis to review sales performance for key accounts

  • Responsible for other ad-hoc requests including, but not limited to, reports on job quote and key-dealer metrics

Qualification:

  • 1-3+ years of experience in pricing or financial analysis role

  • 1-2+ years of experience with complex customer service, price negotiations and/or sales

  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office especially Excel and Access

  • Familiarity with SAP and Business Objects. Data Warehouse knowledge preferred.

  • Proven capability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format

  • Proven capability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with customers (internal and external) required

  • Pricing / sales experience a plus

  • HVAC industry knowledge a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2-5+ years’ experience

  • Master's/MBA degree with 0-2+ years’ experience
