Role Overview

This position is for a lead Quality Assurance technician who works under moderate supervision. Conducts complex quality analyses and inspections. Leads lower level staff in review and analysis of corrective actions and process reengineering. Oversees testing plans, methods and equipment to assure reliability of products.

Specific responsibilities of this role include:

Works under immediate supervision to assist with the development and implementation of program quality plans and procedures

Oversees testing plans, methods and equipment to assure reliability of products in conjunction with product design and specifications.

Leads lower level staff in review and analysis of corrective actions and process reengineering .

Conducts complex quality analyses and inspections.

Leads lower level staff in review and analysis of flowcharts, forms, communications and audits prepared by lower level staff for quality implementation and compliance.

Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures.

Education: Requirements – Basic Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess a AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a relevant application.

  • Experience with mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Aerospace industry requirements.

  • AS9100 knowledge.

  • Demonstrated computer literacy
