Responsible for advising and assisting business units with meeting their trade finance requirements, including the issuance of letters of credit/bank guarantees and negotiating transactions. Identify and select banks to support trade finance initiatives.
Provide guidance on appropriate terms and conditions to control and mitigate risks. Maintain trade finance expertise in the organization.
Negotiate, execute and maintain reimbursement agreements for the issuance of letters of credit and bank guarantees.
Manage LC/BG permissible delegations and expand use of online systems for issuance letters of credit within approved delegations by business unit personnel where permissible.
Responsible for managing the LC/BG quarterly reconciliation process of all instruments issued under the global credit facility.
Manage the company’s dividend repatriation program; including, solicitation, analysis, and review of entity dividend submissions.
Maintain and upgrade the Dividend Request Tool, Dividend Support Tool, and business processes related to the dividend repatriation program.
Support and execute cash mobilization projects and subsidiary restructuring initiatives.
Manage Sarbanes Oxley requirements for letters of credits.
Advise operations on best practices.
Maintain internal control environment.
Assist and manage as appropriate due diligence, closing, and integration efforts for acquisitions and divestitures.
BS in accounting and/or finance required. Certified Treasury Professional or equivalent training also desired
5 or more year’s treasury, financial and/or accounting experience. Direct experience with treasury processes is required.
ACE Associate certification preferred
Strong analytical ability and effective communication skills. Must be able to balance multiple projects and maintain customer focus
