This role will collaborate with the Otis Communications team in the creation of critical communications supporting “Otis 2.0” – the reinvention of Otis for the digital age. Support the Communications Department for public relations, social media campaigns and content creation to be leveraged across earned, shared and owned channels.

Position will:

  • Lead and/or assist with creative content development, e.g.; infographics, GIFs, video, social copy, etc.

  • Provide support via research, writing, editing of press releases, Insight posts and some internal email communications.

  • Support the coordination of local, national and global company, customer and industry events, such as 2018 Council on Tall Buildings & Urban Habitat (CTBUH).

  • As needed, provide ongoing support to marketing efforts/collateral production and partnerships with existing vendors.

Qualification:

Candidates must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have working knowledge of Microsoft Software applications. Candidates should be self-starters and be able to work with minimal direction. They should be able to communicate a clear understanding of their subject matter, work in cross-functional teams, respect individual differences and welcome diverse thinking, and offer informed suggestions to improve processes.

Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or have Permanent Resident status.

Education: Summer 2019 internship opportunities are available for full-time undergraduate and graduate student working toward a BS or MS degree in Communications or similar field of study. Completed Sophomore or Junior year preferred.
