Description:

This position is an exciting opportunity to be on the forefront developing the critical technologies to support the next generation of P&W products. The Advanced Military Engine Programs (AEP) Technology Demonstrator manager will be responsible for executing technology development and demonstration contracts supporting the next generation engine technology portfolio. This position will be responsible for supervising multiple program managers of government and internally funded studies, engine and component technology demonstrations.

The selected candidate will:

  • Manage technology programs cost, schedule and technical performance in support of P&W strategic goals.

  • Coordinate with Weapon System Contractors (WSC) and Government customers to create and capture new business opportunities.

  • Lead individual program IPMT’s and support the AMEP IPMT.

  • Lead proposal development to meet customer expectations and win programs based on P&W strategic goals.

  • Interface with P&W Military Engines senior management as required to maintain alignment with P&W strategic goals.

  • Perform supervisory responsibilities including career development and performance management of staff.

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and make sound decisions consistent with program strategies.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills required.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in technical program management.

  • Working knowledge of EVMS and IMS tools.

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to maintain a security clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in business or engineering.

  • Export compliance training/certification.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline.
