Hot Section Engineering (HSE) at Pratt & Whitney is currently looking for an experienced and highly-motivated Structures Engineer to join its team in support of commercial, military and industrial gas turbine engines. In this role, you will be responsible for completing technical assessments and analyses necessary to support design, development, validation, production implementation and management of new and operational engines flying across the globe. You work all hardware HSE owns including turbine airfoils, rotating hardware, and static structure. In this role, the Structures Engineer will be an integral member of a team working tasks and challenging problems focused on engine safety, reliability, capability, robustness and affordability. The Structures Engineer will be expected to lead small teams (including outsourcing) and partner with others outside HSE. It is an exciting time at Pratt & Whitney and this is a unique opportunity for an expert individual to join a team working cutting-edge technologies on the best engines in the world. Qualification: Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree and 1+ with a Master's degree

Ability to obtain a security clearance

U.S Citizenship due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Degree Engineering.

Knowledge/Experience in Continuous Improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma, ACE, etc.

Aerospace Industry

ANSYS Experience

The final Grade/Level for the position will depend on Qualifications and Experience.

Education: Minimum of a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required
