Responsibilities include:

  • Perform diverse types of statistical analyses for both the military and commercial programs

  • Assist multifunctional teams with problem solving, process improvement, and data based decision-making through the use of statistical methods, analyses, and tools, with applications spanning such areas as Metallurgical (mechanical test, microstructural analysis), Manufacturing, Non destructive Examination – all-inclusive of P&W Supplier & Customer support

  • Travel may be up to 10%

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in a statistician/statistical role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree

  • Desired Professional Society memberships: American Society for Quality (ASQ) and American Statistical Association (ASA) Preferred Certificates: ASQ – Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASA – Accredited Professional

  • Industrial knowledge and or experience in the following areas: Exploratory Data Analysis, Sample size determination, Linear and logistic regression, Response modeling, Probability calculations, Experimental Design, Categorical Data analysis, Statistical Process Control and Process Certification and Multivariate Data Analysis

  • Computer Language experience with SAS and Minitab

  • Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities

  • High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement

  • Ability to create positive relationships and craft clear communications

  • Highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and pursue continued growth and developmental opportunities

  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner
