P&W Engine Leasing Intern Pratt & Whitney Engine Leasing (PWEL) is a Customer Support group responsible for managing P&W engine lease assets and providing engine leasing support to customers and the overall P&W business. The function is a critical element in keeping customer’s fleets flying and supporting P&W program & business objectives.

The PWEL Intern will support multiple functions within the PWEL team, including technical, operations and communication activities, to further the overall objectives of the group. The intern will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with testing, input, actions & problem solving related to IT tool & systems development and implementation which provide enhanced solutions for the team’s processes.

  • Assisting with creation of standard work documentation for technical and operations team processes

  • Lead activity to close issue resolutions to PWEL processes in ACE tool

  • Providing input and ownership to process improvement activities that increase efficiencies and communication within the team and interacting groups

  • Assisting in developing customer communications to allow greater visibility to PWEL activity and status

  • Providing general support and input to team projects and processes as needed

Qualification: The ideal candidate will be self-driven and possess confidence in working within multiple custom built IT tools and Microsoft Dynamics products and have ability to bring a process improvement mindset to the role. Identifying issues and helping to develop solutions will be important attributes as well as working independently across the team and with other organizations to support the team’s objectives and overcome obstacles.

U.S Citizenship is required.

Education:

Must currently be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, business or a related engineering field. First year (Freshman) undergraduate coursework should be complete. GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
