Pratt & Whitney Military Engines’ Business Acquisition Center of Excellence (BACE) organization is seeking experienced proposal specialists to assist the BACE Proposal Managers in the development of timely, accurate proposal cost and price estimates for the Advanced Engines and Development. This individual will ensure proposal estimates needed for Development proposal submission, negotiation, and sweep meet customer requirements and are delivered on-time. This individual will be responsible to ensure estimates follow company standard work to include adherence to the ME gated review processes. The selected individual will work as a key member of a team supporting proposal preparation, fact finding, and negotiations and will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout Pratt & Whitney in this effort. Detailed responsibilities include: • Analyze customer requirements and develop Bases of Estimate (BOEs) that can be easily understood and modified by subject matter experts and that will meet Government cost and pricing requirements. • Assist in the development of the proposal kickoff briefing • Facilitate BOEs development process by working with internal SMEs to identify comparable reference programs • Expedite the completion of BOEs by interfacing with Subcontract Management and Procurement to expedite quote receipt from suppliers and subcontractors. • Monitor BOE compliance with RFP requirements and SOW and RIM. • Review technical volume to ensure consistency with BOEs. • Coordinate and work with SMEs in fact finding activities with the Government and PW suppliers • Monitor and coordinate responses to requests for information (RFIs) • Help develop sweep kickoff briefing • Work with SMEs to complete BOE sweep • Assist in the evaluation of the sweep results prior to submittal to the government. • Assist in assuring proposal compliance with RFP.

Experience/Qualifications

4-7 years in proposal/program/project management support The successful candidate will also have a basic knowledge of P&W’s proposal estimating processes and experience working P&W’s U.S. Government and international military customers. Knowledge of engine programs is a plus. Required Competencies Customer focus Focus on results Analytical Thinking Adaptability

Education Certification

Bachelor's degree (engineering, logistics, finance, or business management preferred) with 4-7 years’ experience.
