Description:

The Logistics Engineer in Global Services Engineering is primarily responsible for evaluating repair development needs and developing related technical work scopes for all military engine programs. Responsibilities include hardware review and data analysis for engine parts exhibiting or predicted to exhibit service distress to determine engine repair needs and recommend repair-solutions. Significant integration within Repair and Tooling Development engineers, as well as with OEM Engineering/CIPTs, Customer Support Engineering, Military Program Offices, Repair Business Units, and customers is necessary. This individual will work directly with the USAF/USN/JPO customer across all military engine programs. This is a newly created position located in East Hartford, CT.

The Logistics Engineer is part of the Engineering technical career path in Systems Engineering, affording the opportunity for involvement in program management and business analysis, while retaining significant technical responsibility. This position also supports a candidate with a desire to gain familiarity with a broad range of engine hardware and aftermarket operations at P&W and U.S. Government overhaul facilities, as well as at foreign military operations.

Qualification:

Minimum 3 years of Engineering experience. The ideal candidate will possess hardware and/or manufacturing experience. Demonstrated organization skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
