The Enterprise Capacity & Materials Planning Strategy (ECMPS) team within Pratt & Whitney (P&W) is a rapidly growing organization established to assess the demand and output capacity of the entire P&W operations and supply chain network. Major functions of the ECMPS organization are Demand Management, Network Capacity, Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP), and Master Scheduling. The Global Materials & Logistics (GM&L) Development Program is a two-year rotational program that exposes entry-level college graduates and/or recent new hires to materials management at Pratt & Whitney. Program Goals: Place associates in substantial rotational positions where they can: •Gain a broad-based working knowledge of the key processes within Supply Chain Management, including the internal networks necessary for effective problem solving and communication •Build the business and managerial skill set required to be an accomplished Supply Chain professional Provide training to associates specifically designed to: •Clarify the role and scope of Supply Chain and Logistics within the company •Understand the activities and concerns of OMM&GL suppliers and customers You will complete four six-month assignments in the areas of Demand Management, Supply Planning, Delivery Execution and a final assignment of your own design. Assignments will be primarily in Connecticut Operations but may include assignments to other US locations. The MM Development Program will serve as a springboard into a rewarding supply chain career in our organization. At the conclusion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to move into a full-time role to further utilize and apply their acquired knowledge and experiences in support of both functional and business objectives. The program seeks out and recruits highly motivated college students / entry level employees who demonstrate leadership ability and academic excellence and trains them to become tomorrow's business leaders. Please Note: The next Cohort of associates will start June 2019.

Qualification:

You're self-motivated You work independently or with the cross functional teams You demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills You are a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite SAP experience preferred Prior related internship experience preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher is required US Citizenship required

Education:

Currently pursuing Bachelors graduating by May 2019 in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
