A key role in Pratt & Whitney's Commercial Aftermarket organization, the Manager, PW1500G Allocation and Mitigation will provide world-class customer service by ensuring on-time spare parts delivery to meet customer needs. Key deliverables of this position include:

  • Acting as the focal point for regional customer account managers (CAMs) to support customer spare part requirements for Next Generation Product Family (NGPF) engine models. The selected candidate will support regional CAMs in managing all logistics from order placement to shipment tracking.

  • Managing allocation of NGPF spare parts.

  • Driving and implement spare part shortage mitigation plans by collaborating with global maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) centers, repair shops and Commercial Serviceable Assets (CSA).

  • Communicating with customers to identify part shortages and expedite material to support engine builds. Interface with a wide range of functional groups (e.g. Supply Management, Finance, Warehousing, Customer Technical Support, Service Programs, Product Line Management) for responding to customer inquiries.

  • Supporting customer price requests and troubleshooting identified issues with the functions of Engineering, Configuration Management and Technical Publications.

  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives with the functions of Engineering, Repair Development, Configuration Management and Quality in order to mitigate spare parts shortages.

  • Creating standard work and systems for NGPF spare parts business processes.

  • Effectively maintaining sales orders in a manner that achieves customer satisfaction and meets business objectives.

  • -Utilizing SAP and database tools to perform sales transactions and analyses.

  • Reporting annual sales plans and monthly sales commitments to senior leadership. Additionally, coordinating, participating and/or leading internal and external meetings such as the Critical Parts List Review, Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) and Monthly Program Review.

  • Design, negotiate and implement agreements with customers to generate incremental sales and earnings.

Qualification:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and/or business field of study with 7+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or other advanced degree in a STEM discipline and/or business field of study with 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Work experience inclusive of customer service/supply management within or outside of the aerospace industry

  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Access

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Work history which includes exceptional performance demonstrating the following competencies/skills: customer focus, communication, teamwork, problem solving, taking initiative, project management, sales data analysis and planning

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and/or business field of study with 7+ years of relevant work experience
