Brief Description of Key Job Requirements:

The program cost FP&A team analyzes and reports on manufacturing cost for all of P&W engine and APU programs. An employee in this role will work closely with many different functions, including the forward-deployed operations finance teams within the supply chain and factories, Commercial & Military Programs, engineering, and the Product Cost Management Team. All of these resources will be valuable for an employee to build valued-added variance explanations and a robust, high-visibility forecast.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Reporting, planning, and forecasting total engine cost for presentation to senior management, including weekly cost reviews attended by the SVP of Operations and P&W CFO

  • GTF program cost analysis

  • Bill of Material variance analysis

  • Monthly finance executive presentations on key engine cost drivers / cost reduction projects

  • Special projects critical to driving cost reduction and performance in the organization

The ideal candidate for this position would be high-energy, team player, with a strong financial / analytical background and a positive attitude. She or he must have an ability to synthesize mass amounts of data into actionable morsels and a willingness to dive into complex details. Due to the technical nature of the job, a strong background in SAP & Business Warehouse is desired.

Systems Exposed To: SAP, Business Warehouse, Microsoft Office products

Qualification: Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in accounting or Finance

US Citizen required, due to Government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of cost accounting

Understanding of bill of materials

Education: Bachelor's degree required.
