As the Manager of Operations Master Data Governance, you will work to identify and catalogue all the Operations Master Data while driving projects to build governance procedures for all identified Operations-owned data domains and attributes. You will be responsible for ensuring that assigned achievements and deliverables are met on-time while promptly addressing potential risks and gaps. You will collaborate with appropriate cross functional teams of Subject-Matter-Experts (SMEs) to drive team's goals and deliverables forward and participate in project level change management activities to ensure smooth partners’ transition to the desired state of the newly deployed processes. You will monitor progress on assigned milestones and deliverables and report/escalate any risks or challenges to the Director, Operations BPM.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and catalogue domains of Master Data for full ownership by Operations

  • Partner with Business Data Stewards to create governance processes for Operations owned Master Data domains

  • Identify Operations Master Data attributes across the enterprise and the Functional Data Stewards in Operations that are accountable for those attributes

  • Partner with the identified Business Data Stewards to create governance processes for Operations owned data attributes

  • Act as Functional or Business Data Steward

  • Work with the Enterprise Data Governance Organization on data governance sustainment

  • Create SharePoint site for Operations Master Data Governance

  • Measure process effectiveness and implement process improvement changes

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or related field with 5+ years of operations experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of operational experience

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, continuous improvement, master data management or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACE Associate with a strong continuous improvement mindset

  • Training/Certification in additional Continuous Improvement methodologies

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, SAP, and MS SharePoint

  • Ability to lead in a cross-functional environment, resolve conflicts, prioritize and manage ambiguity

  • Ability to be an effective teammate and partner on corporate initiatives

  • Strong communication, ability craft clear and concise communications and presentation

  • Ability to take initiative, support strategic priorities, take ownership of assigned projects/initiatives and contribute to results

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or related field with 5+ years of operations experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of operational experience
