Your Responsibilities

You will have validated experience working as a Linux System Administrator, preferable in a Red Hat environment. You will be responsible for imaging, supporting, and integrating HPC clusters and servers running Red Hat Enterprise LINUX (RHEL) in a non-standard engineering environment. You will also be in charge of troubleshooting, scheduling, and installation of engineering applications.

Along with technical responsibilities, you should be able to handle complex projects supporting customer initiatives. You will partner with customers and IT resources at varying levels of the organization.

Do you have it what it takes? We need an innovator with confirmed strategy development and project implementation skills, and a strong leadership experience.

Occasional after-hours support to provide scheduled off-hour maintenance, timely remediation of emergency situations and problem resolution is required

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

•US Citizen due to program requirements

•You will need to have or the ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.

•Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline

•7+ years Linux Systems Administrator experience

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience with Red Hat Operating Systems

•General networking skills and trouble shooting skills.

•Previous experience working on isolated networks. IP networking and/or Infiniband skills

•High Performance Computing (HPC)

•IBM Spectrum/Platform LSF

•Working knowledge of Internetworking services: DNS, DHCP, NIS, NFS, Samba, SSH, NTP, HTTP, etc.

•Secure collaboration techniques

•Generate clear and extensive documentation on system administration procedures for routine and complex tasks, and provide Root Cause Corrective Action reports when necessary

•Storage Architectures: SAN, SAS, SATA, Bandwidth, Performance

•Project Management including presentation & communication skills

•Required Certifications (current or achieved within 6 months of employment)

•Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or equivalent

•Security+ and/or Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP), or equivalent
