We have a rare opportunity for a high energy and talented Human Resources Client Manager to drive key human resources initiatives and promote an inspiring culture in the Compression Systems Module Center (CSMC).

This position will be located in Middletown, CT.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Partner with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs that support the business goals and get results

  • Effectively execute Human Resources processes including performance management, salary planning, staffing and retention, employee relations, and development

  • Administer collective bargaining agreement as it applies to assigned employee population

  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with union representatives

  • Conduct investigations and process grievances

  • Support collective bargaining process

  • Address HR-related inquiries from all levels of employees

  • Coach Managers and employees, help them become the best that they can

  • Participate in succession planning processes and programs focused on current and future organizational needs

  • Support diversity, recruiting and retention strategy, efforts and programs

  • Lead and support special projects in support of overall Module Center initiatives

  • Developing strong, positive, reciprocal working relationships with business leaders and fellow HR team members that allow for effective partnership and teaming

  • Coaching managers through challenging employee relations and performance management matters. Support managers in developing and communicating plans to address areas of improvement

  • Using continuous improvement tools and methodology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree

  • 4+ years of experience working in a Human Resources function

  • US Person due to program requirements (US Citizen or Permanent Green Card Holder)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in human resources or a related discipline

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial or union environment

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate people, handle conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment and effectively interface at all organizational levels

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Strong project management skills

  • Initiative, creativity, along with the ability to craft clear communications both written and verbally

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Creative troubleshooting skills

  • Possess excellent judgment and professional maturity

  • Multi-tasking abilities, have a client focus, adaptive, and work effectively in a time sensitive environment
