We have a rare opportunity for a talented F135 Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to be based in E. Hartford, CT.

The F135 Program is not only the fastest growing and the largest single Engine Program in Pratt & Whitney history, it is also the largest military contract in US history!

An opportunity exists within the ME F135 Program Financial Support (PFS)Organization for a Military Engines FP&A Manager to support the F135 Development Program. This person will be responsible for providing an array of financial services supporting customer deliverables ranging from financial support and variance analysis, P&L and cash flow management, contract compliance, amongst other things.

The Manger will have the opportunity to collaborate with several other teams including ME FP&A, Government Accounting, Government Pricing, F135 Program Office, ME Contracts, US Government customer, and Subcontractors Rolls Royce and UTAS.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ENTAIL:

  • Facilitate execution of financial performance through robust management reporting and communication, financial analysis, and effective risk management practices

  • Ensure Program liquidity across all Development contracts by effectively managing funding, billing and cash flow projections

  • Promote contract compliance with USG notification requirements, PW MAM policy, and other compliance metrics

  • Shine the light on opportunities relative to return on sales and fee

  • Utilize PW systems (SAP, Dassian, BW, etc.) in order to streamline P&L/ BS reporting

  • Timely follow-up and disposition of various USG/ PW ad-hoc requests

  • Actively promote ACE Tools & Process Improvement initiatives in support of F135 Program Management Office (PMO) deliverables

Qualification:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Finance or Accounting

  • 5+ years of experience in a Financial role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with some of the following systems: SAP, Business Warehouse, Hyperion Financial Management, ODM, Microsoft Office Products, Dassian

  • Adept at working well in a team environment

  • Capable of managing multiple priorities expertly and accurately in a rapidly changing business environment.

  • Prior ME Program experience is helpful but not required.

Education:

Education Requirements:

BA/BS degree w/6–10+ years of experience, in a related field

MA/MS degree w/5–7+ years of experience
