Job Description: The selected candidate will be a member of the F117 LPM Material Logistics team located in East Hartford supporting a Material Logistic analyst role for new and repair aircraft components. The candidate will assist and support the F117 Repair Depots, Boeing and USAF customers to meet overhaul production schedule demands and Supply Chain Management. The selected candidate must be a self-starter that is focused on delighting the customer. • Support and assist the F117 Materials LPM Logistic team to meet gate 3 depot engine overhaul demands utilizing critical part status reports and ensuring appropriate spare forecasts and orders • Perform weekly critical parts review for OEM and repaired parts, highlight critical items • Participate in daily depot and spares conference calls, identify critical needs, initiate action Plans with Spares and/or Item repair managers to obtain recovery plans • Monitor and manage the DPAS log manual and over-ride process • Execute defined material strategies for part ordering while reducing/maintaining inventory levels to inventory tasking • Identify gaps in material planning/marshaling in conjunction with PW spares and PW item repair management team and develop an execution plan for parts that are short to Gate 2 marshalling dates and gate 3 depot build needs to support the engine depots • Oversee weekly and monthly reporting metrics for inventory targets at various F117 depots • Perform various SAP logistic transactions including depot to depot transfers, in-transit reviews • Manage the Shadow plant virtual analysis and perform SAP transactions to reconcile discrepancies • Investigate and resolve SAP system failures including material master errors and gaps • Develop new and maintain existing database tools to support material management reporting and metrics • Perform daily and weekly inventory status DB reports, participate with Business Support team to address depot virtual plant issues impacting cost, part valuation and qty discrepancy. Initiate action plans to resolve. • Participate in process improvement and value stream Kaizan events as necessary • Ensure development and sustainment of standard work • Analyze data and create presentations for management and customer reviews • Provide support to material logistics, spares, technical, forecast and depot teams including vendor commit Date, recovery plan, alternate supplier sources, mitigation plans, scrap data • Assist in various inventory and material errors reconciliation and implement appropriate mistake proofing to avoid re-occurring issues • Support and assist in the program wide Master MRP review and implementation • Communicate critical part issues to depots and management and initiate part delivery recovery / burn down plans • Monitor, manage, reconcile and expedite work stop issues with appropriate depots • Initiate order placement for LLP items and critical A & B strata components

Education/Certifications:

B.S./B.A required

A degree in a technical, business, logistics or supply chain preferred

Experience/Qualifications:

Required: 3+ years of material planning, logistics or supply chain experience

Preferred:

Experience in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Access.

Strong Access query writing

Self-starter, positive can-do attitude who can work at setting priorities to meet various deadlines on short notice.

Ability to multi-task, problem solve and execute appropriate decision making in a fast paced environment Strong oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, results oriented, customer focused and ability to work within a team environment.

Position requires ability to work with cross functional teams both inside and outside of the Materials Management Organization and Customer Solutions and across all functions of the IPMT.

Must be able to qualify for a USG security clearance
