Description:

This position will have overall responsibility within F117 Program for leading the new Controls and Accessories (C&A) repair contract execution supporting Boeing. In this role the program manager will provide leadership for contract execution including process optimization, and measurement by interfacing with Boeing, P&W material repair team, engine depot team and our supplier. Working with the C&A Repair Manager develop processes for improved visibility of the repair management process health, refine the processes and systems to allow for more efficient and business performance through the effective integration of P&W commercial and military logistics support functional organizations, and the efficient use of logistics management tools. Additional responsibilities will include overseeing the successful integration of P&W contracted activities with F117 sustainment program that P&W provides to the USAF under a separate contract. Identify and help develop opportunities to improve support of both programs. Key Job Responsibilities: • Work closely with the customer, supplier and internal material repair team and functional organizations to plan, execute and communicate actions to achieve the contracted repair program elements. • Collaborate with internal functional organizations (material logistics, program, technical, contracts, legal, financial, business development), as well as external customer, to establish program measures and reporting to status the health of the program. • Coordinate the development and execution of IT and data base enhancements to support measurements and efficient program execution. • Interface with the customer, and the program office to determine future customer needs, and focus internal support necessary to achieve customer satisfaction. • Ensure repair program critical issues are identified, communicated, elevated as required and acted on in a timely fashion through the appropriate channels. • Utilize ACE Principles and continuous improvement management systems and processes to minimize cost and to ensure customer satisfaction. • Assist with the assessment of future opportunities proposal activity by ensuring appropriate support is provided. • Support export compliance activities related to foreign sourced repairs.

Qualification: Required:

6+ years of professional working experience

2+ years of experience in military & commercial engines and component overhaul & repair AND/OR Material and/or Logistics management

Preferred:

Technical understanding of propulsion systems and their components

Strong process focus and organizational skills

Demonstrated effective teaming skills Continuous improvement experience with ability to develop and implement standard work.

This position will be stationed in East Hartford, CT. Occasional domestic travel may be required.

Education: Required: B.A./B.S. degree

Preferred: a degree inn Engineering, Logistics and/or Business
