We have a rare opportunity for a hardworking Electronic system Servicer to be based in East Hartford, CT
You would have knowledge of repair and overhaul methods as applied to heavy machinery, together with knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and servo-systems.
Work from drawings and schematic diagrams, read technical material of some complexity, and use mathematics through trigonometry.
Use precision measuring instruments and equipment to check machines and equipment for accuracy.
Perform the electronics work necessary to maintain and repair electronic and electromechanical machine tools and equipment following recognized methods in selecting and using available tools and equipment and in planning or altering the methods necessary to complete assigned work.
Under direction of supervisor follow instructions and drawings to determine material requirements, plan sequence of operations, obtain required support services and tools and equipment to carry out assignments. Check to assure equipment and supplies are available.
Perform system installation, maintenance and repair work and carry out preventive maintenance and service work as required.
Provide assistance to others in system operation, care, use and maintenance of equipment, and proper work practices and work in support of others on special assignment.
Perform similar duties throughout the facility within the scope and skill level of this job description. Assist other trades working on joint projects where common skill crossover provides the opportunity for shared responsibilities and more effective use of available skills.
Refer difficulties to supervisor or project leader. May be required to train for, obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits and certifications
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years manufacturing experience working in an aerospace environment
U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts
Highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and pursue continued growth and developmental opportunities
Detail and results oriented with good problem solving skills
Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities
High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement
Excellent Judgment and professional maturity
Ability to create positive relationships and craft clear communication
Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with associates at all levels throughout the organization
