Pratt & Whitney Business Process Management (BPM) is looking for a high performance, forward-thinking leader with a big picture mindset to direct the standardization and optimization/automation of the Global Supply Chain (GSC) processes. You will be responsible for leading BPM projects, initiatives, and collaborations with other supply chain groups, as well as identify, staff, and secure funding for potential projects that improve business goals. Success will be measured based upon the successful transformation of GSC and improvement in key performance indicators and customer satisfaction. You will use continuous improvement methods and tools as part of leading projects to improve processes, coaching others and developing standards.

This position will report into the Business Process Management (BPM) organization. Strong data analytical skills to understand root cause and develop more efficient and effective processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for an entire project or several components of a project of complex component of a larger project

  • Ensure key project achievements are well-defined

  • Create plan for Budget, Resources, and timeline to ensure projects remains on schedule, while promptly addressing and closing gaps

  • Author and use test scripts or other pilot plan to test before full roll-out across GSC

  • Support continuous improvement and with multidisciplinary individuals to provide: project charter; process maps, and swim lanes to create solutions across large, complex projects

  • Lead change management activities to ensure smooth partner transition to future state and deployment of process, tools and solutions to improve business results

  • Use RACI to clarify roles and responsibilities.

  • Monitor projects progress, milestones and key measures.

  • Report through BPM Council, and other report-outs and escalating when applicable, on project challenges and measures to meet schedule, budget and performance requirements

  • Support BPM team to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives to achieve business results using best practice Process Management tools and methods.

  • Understand and provide guidance as a subject matter expert in supply chain, purchasing and materials management activities

  • SNC and SAP expertise and work with Suppliers to support problem resolution on SNC

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years in Global Supply Chain, Materials, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Lean or Operations experience

  • Bachelor's Degree - Supply Chain, Business, Operations or Engineering

  • US Citizen due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Procurement experience and proficiency with SNC and SAP

  • Proficiency in leading a portfolio of projects, handling budget, resources, schedule and improve business results

  • Experience with Project Leadership and Change Management methods and tools

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams

  • Ability to communicate to a broad audience including Executives

  • Create training and be able to deliver hands-on training classes to GSC employees

  • Proficiency with MS Office products, advanced proficiency with Excel

  • ACE Practitioner/Associate Certification, Lean or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certifications

  • Experience in Global Supply Chain (GSC), in Materials organization, and IT

  • Experience executing integration and regression training

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Supply Chain, Business, Operations or Engineering
