Description:

The Engine Dynamics and Loads (ED&L) Group is looking for a highly motivated entry level Structures Engineer with demonstrated ability in resolving technical issues. The Engine Dynamics and Loads (ED&L) Group is responsible for developing full engine models and performing loads analyses and dynamic response predictions for military, commercial, and advanced engine programs including engine and rig testing. These models are integrated with aircraft structural models and loads and deflections are provided to component design engineers for detailed component analyses. ED&L engineers process vibration data to support model calibration, engine or component validation, or root cause investigations for development or production testing or field support. Frequent interaction with design integration, airframe structural engineers, applied mechanics, and module center engineers is required.

Qualification:

The applicant should have experience in structural finite element modeling and analysis, strong communication skills, and an ability to work with multiple dynamic teams.

Education:

Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with expected graduation by May 2019. Preference will be given to college applicants with intern experience in a related field and a GPA of 3.4 or better.
