Lead the weapons systems integration of an Advanced military engine with the airframe contractor and work within the ICD (Interface Control Document) Working Group to meet the engine and airframe requirements and schedule for contract deliverables and milestones in support of IDR and PDR (Preliminary Design Review) program level milestones. Lead P&W Weapon Systems team, including Systems and Component teams to ensure alignment with Engine and Design Systems Integration teams and Systems Integration Product Team to achieve the best technical solution is achieved that meets the engine requirements. Lead weapons systems trade studies and develop and participate in leadership and management briefings.

Qualification:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

  • 10+ years of gas turbine component or systems engineering experience,

  • US Citizen, due to Government contracts

  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or MBA a plus.

  • Strong technical and leadership skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels with customers, contractors and the USG.

  • A government security clearance is desired or the ability to attain one should not have any barriers.
