Pratt & Whitney's Commercial Engines, Engine Services organization is seeking an aftermarket specialist (i.e. fleet specialist) to join our team.

The Fleet Programs group manages long-term engine maintenance agreements with commercial airline customers. The combined size of our business portfolio of contracts is over $30B in lifetime sales. Contractual services include engine overhaul and repair, on-wing and off-wing maintenance planning, coordination of on-wing services, engine health monitoring and logistical support.

The fleet specialist role partners with fleet managers, senior regional managers and regional associate directors to support operational aspects of managing the fleet programs business portfolio. The selected candidate will report to a regional associate director and will be responsible for executing tasks and functions to comply with contractual obligations, meet financial profit and loss objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.

The fleet specialist interfaces with external/internal customers, suppliers and other Pratt & Whitney functions to ensure that relevant data and information is available to facilitate effective business decision making. The fleet specialist is also responsible for all aspects of customer invoicing/reporting, development of internal and external communications/presentations, maintaining accurate engine removal forecasts and coordinating engine removal inductions. When off-wing engine maintenance is required, the fleet specialist collaborates with engine center network maintenance, repair and overhaul shops and Engine Services technical teams to maintain/improve shop turn-around-time. Finally, the fleet specialist assists with the development and maintenance of all financial metrics packages pertaining to his/her assigned region.

Strong leadership skills including the ability to work independently to resolve technical or business challenges of a complex nature

Preferred Qualifications

Prior work experience which included program management, project management, customer support, contract management and/or financial analysis

Prior application of continuous improvement methodologies/tools/practices in former positions held

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or business field of study with 5+ years of relevant work experience, or

Master's or other advanced degree in a STEM or business field of study with 3+ years of relevant work experience
