Role/Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. Internships are for students

who would like to work while attending school. A formal agreement is not required for the

school. The company’s goal is to relate employment opportunities to the student’s academic

majors to ensure maximum productivity for all parties involved. The goal of the Intern program

is to enhance the student’s academic training, professional growth, and personal development.

Our intern position will assist Human Resources with documentation, analysis, and other

associated tasks related to Human Resource administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of HR tasks to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

  • Supports the recruitment process for open positions with such activities as:

  • sourcing and selecting qualified candidates, conducting phone screens, participating in panel interviews, facilitating debrief sessions, and negotiating offers

  • Responsible for the successful pre-employment requirements for onboarding of new employees

  • Conducts new employee orientations and follows up on onboarding activities

  • Provides support for activities relating to benefits, employee committees, and employee relations (Service Awards, Employee Recognition, Wellness, etc.)

  • Ensures company employment, safety, labor relations, personnel, and equal opportunity policies comply with the applicable provisions of federal/state labor laws

  • Performs other duties as required

Education

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications: Basic, Preferred, and Desired

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA or above

  • Must have completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task with good organization and prioritization skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Resourceful

  • Team-oriented

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
