We’re looking for an energetic accounting and controlling specialist. If you enjoy finding ways to better operations that include accurate cost and inventory management, we have an opportunity for you. In this role, you will interact with individuals across the organization to match cost accounting solutions with complex business processes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and post production and inventory-related costs

  • Analyze and explain financial and operational results

  • Coordinate material standard cost updates and validation

  • Review material cost variances

  • Drive and monitor financial controls

  • Support compliance, internal, and external audits

  • Incorporate continuous improvement in the assessment of processes and systems to achieve business and accounting objectives

  • Manage multiple-step analytical and technical projects

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

Basic Qualifications

  • Cost accounting experience

  • ERP system experience

  • Proven analytical skills

  • Strong communication, business writing, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment

  • Advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace/Manufacturing cost analysis experience

  • Standard costing experience

  • SAP CO and FI experience

  • Data mining skills (BI/BW, WEBI, Visual Basic, SQL)

  • Project management experience

  • Government cost accounting experience

  • Experience applying system solutions to complex business processes

  • Experience with driving process improvement
