Flight test instrumentation & Test Integration engineer role supporting current and new flight test programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage Testing Job Request (TJR) Parameter lists.

  • Support instrumentation design Concept reviews

  • Oversight of Instrumentation execution process.

  • Create and present Test Requirements presentations for external customers.

  • Support external Customer (Air Framer, Engine Manufacturer, etc.) meetings and test reviews (as required by Flight Test leadership)

  • Support internal customer in field investigations and test requirement determination.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to review test requirements and interpolate into instrumentation demands

  • Experience with various Analysis disciplines (Stress, Dynamics, Thermal, Acoustics and Aero)

  • Able to meet technical deliverables on time and on budget.

  • Ability to Present to internal and external customer.

  • Understanding of LEAN/Continuous Improvement principles

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Excellent Organizational Skills

  • Strong Knowledge of Nacelle and Engine Components

  • Instrumentation sensor application knowledge

  • Engineering design, fabrication and implementation background

  • Previous Flight test experience a plus

  • Electro mechanical background a plus

  • Important to be creative, analytical, self starter, energetic and work well in a team environment at all levels of organization

  • Must possess excellent MS Office Skills

  • Knowledge of design tools such as CATIA

  • Experience with SAP a plus

Education:

  • Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) Bachelor's Degree with 4 to 7+ years

  • Master's Degree with 2-5+ years experience

  • PhD degree with 0 - 2+ years experience
