Role Overview

This position is a senior professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in Talent Management who leads various talent management activities, including recruiting, on-boarding, training, employee engagement, and strategic sourcing processes. Interfaces with leadership regarding talent management policies, practices and procedures for an assigned business unit or department.

The Recruitment and Diversity Coordinator is responsible for the planning and tactical approach to the Collins Aerospace recruitment and diversity programs and diversity conferences. This position maintains a data-driven program focused on transparency, performance, and the organization’s holistic approach to strategically and continuously positioning itself as an optimal employer representative of a diverse workforce and inclusive workplace. This position partners with the varying functions within HBCUs, diversity conferences, and internal initiatives, striving to qualitatively enhance applicant populations to satisfy the organization’s complex staffing needs. This position is a senior professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in Talent Management and Diversity and Inclusion who leads various talent management activities in our diversity conference space and partners with our internal customers to deliver strategic and impactful support to our selected diversity conferences.

Specific responsibilities of this role may include:

  • Drives recruiting processes at diversity conferences and HBCUs, ensuring they are effective and equitable.

  • Educates departmental managers and leadership on diversity-focused strategies to attract a more diverse applicant population.

  • Collaborates with business unit or department leadership to align staffing strategies for the short- and long-term needs of an assigned area.

  • Manages and monitors talent management program costs and effectiveness and assess alignment with assigned area needs.

  • Leads the analysis of assigned area talent pools, short- and long-term staffing needs.

  • Conducts ongoing evaluations to ensure effectiveness of programs and recommends modifications as necessary.

Qualification:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a talent acquisition role

  • Experience in HBCU preferred ​

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Master's Degree preferred
