We are seeking an established Project Manager to join our Charlotte, NC team! You will assist field sales teams in the Carolinas with rapid and accurate responses involving pre-sale and post-sale support to improve customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, prioritize, and manage solutions for field sales team to improve customer satisfaction as well as maintain database of current and closed projects

  • Provide pre-sale support to customers and Sales Engineers by advising on how to best apply Carrier HVAC Products to meet the needs of specific applications

  • Interact with customers including mechanical contractors and owners by providing training on how to install, start up, and maintain Carrier RTUs, DOAS, Commercial Splits, AHUs, AC Chillers and WC Chillers

  • Provide post-sale support at the job site by assisting customers with the installation and application of Carrier products prior to start up

  • Build solid customer relationships by providing post start-up support to overcome any application and product challenges that may arise

  • Handle interdepartmental relationships with Sales Engineers, Customers, Carrier Service, Service Engineering, and Product Management

Qualification:

  • Prior hands on experience with Commercial HVAC products required

  • Extraordinary interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem solving, planning, organizational, and project management skills

  • High attention to detail a requirement

  • Be team oriented and have the ability to work in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to read and understand scope of work

  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, Access)

Education:

  • BA/BS degree with 5 years relevant work experience

  • BS in technical discipline preferred
