Role Overview

This position leads a team of experienced Commercial Airline Aftermarket business development Professionals, overseeing business development activities and ensuring objectives and goals for the team are met. In addition to management duties, the position will also be responsible for several individual airline accounts and will work with our world-wide Sales team to identify, bid, negotiate and win new business opportunities with our Commercial Airline customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Works with our airline Sales team to identify new business opportunities for company products and services.

Works with sales, engineering, product management, and finance teams to develop winning new product/program business models and proposals.

Prepares customer presentations and proposal bid responses, and supports customer pricing and contract negotiations to successfully capture new business opportunities.

Leads, designs and executes marketing and sales strategies, policies, and programs for company products and services.

Leads internal planning and reporting activities including strategic planning, sales forecasting and results reporting, product demand planning, and market analytics.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Commercial airline/aftermarket business development experience

Engineering or Business degree

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
