As part of the Sensors & Integrated Systems (SIS) team, you'll help develop the next generation of more intelligent, more integrated and more reliable solutions that enhance aircraft safety and performance in the most rigorous flight conditions. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing operations.

  • Troubleshoot, repair and modify complex electronic commercial or military systems, electronic circuit cards, interface boards and peripherals to the component level.

  • Test complex electronic commercial or military systems with the aid of written procedures or verbal instructions.

  • Effectively manage multiple work assignments and changing priorities.

  • Read electronic schematics and blue prints.

  • Set up and operate standard and non-standard electronic testing devices.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes.

  • Implements improvements under the supervision of an engineer or management team.

  • Solder and de-solder through hole and surface mount device components on printed circuit boards.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (previous shop floor experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of electrical circuits and avionics communication interfaces

  • Experience participating in and performing effectively in a project team environment is highly desirable

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Education:

  • Associates degree required.
