This role is with the Air Data Systems Electrical Engineering group. The group is responsible for the design, development, test, and certification of a wide range of products for pneumatic measurements of air data parameters, each designed to meet a particular need, including Pitot probes, Pitot-static probes, multi-function probes with flow angle measurement, various flight test products, and SmartProbe® air data systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with circuit modeling and simulation

  • Demonstrate and develop hands-on lab skills

  • Document results and generate test reports

  • Be given the opportunity to exercise your abilities in any variety of electrical engineering disciplines and interests - analog, digital, power, EMI, test, verification/validation, programming, communications, field theory, etc.

  • Work with peer engineers to support their activities; demonstrating the ability to solicit, receive, and administer feedback.

  • Interact with other interns throughout the summer, gain a familiarity with the company, and develop an understanding of the operations and opportunities at UTC Aerospace Systems.

This position will start in Summer 2019.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related program from an accredited institution

  • Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework

Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related program from an accredited institution.
