RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead onsite and offshore teams to deliver projects
Provide detailed technical direction to the team
Design and develop high quality software products using Microsoft technologies
Be a technology champion/mentor and work with others to effectively use new technology to build software products
Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices
Interact with other departments to understand and break down business requirements
Ensure strong commitment to on-time and quality delivery
Assertive and willing to escalate issues
Qualification:
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft and web based technologies, especially REST Services, .NET 4.0, C#, Angular, WCF, WF, etc.
Must be knowledgeable with RDBMS and SQL, SQL Server preferred
5-8 years of intensive software development experience in C# and/or Java
Must have experience working with project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or TFS.
Must have experience with source control tools like TFVC and/or Git
Strong SOA and distributed computing experience
Experience supporting SaaS software environment
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Experience working with Microsoft Azure or other cloud provider PaaS services
Familiarity with a Devops environment
Familiarity with design patterns and microservices architecture
Active interest in new technology and emerging engineering practices
Experience with iterative development and agile methodologies
Experience working with distributed teams
Experience working in a cGMP compliant environment
Experience working with Big Data and NoSQL databases
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or other Engineering degree or equivalent experience
