RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee Real Time & Tech Cell staff Including, but not limited to:

  • Input on employee evaluations

  • Monitoring vacation schedule and forward to supervisor for approval

  • Employee training

  • Ensure adherence to Company policy

  • Maintain required training documentation and work instructions associated with staff and area of responsibility

  • Ensure job travelers and MQRs are processed according to ship dates to meet customer expectations

  • Ensure all job tickets are filled out accordingly

  • Distribute the inbound workload between Real Time & Tech cells and shipping to best suit customer and shipping department demands

  • Communicate workload needs / issues with Production Supervisor to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders

  • Discuss with Production Supervisor Customer Complaint Meeting notes and resolve issues relevant to Manual Programming and Shipping areas

  • Provide daily Ops updates/reports to manager in the format provided; Highlight “Red Flag” concerns in any area that may impact staffing or revenue

  • Ensure backlog is communicated on a daily basis

  • Ensure QCPC is collected on a daily basis and co-facilitate meetings with departments to discuss QCPC

  • Responsible to update department metrics on monthly basis

  • Oversee and monitor 5S production area cleanliness, ensure LEAN and continuous improvement principles are implemented/sustained

  • Maintain EH&S findings and document results

  • Help other departments as needed

  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualification:

  • Experience/knowledge working with organizations ERP & production software platforms

  • Root Cause Analysis experience required to identify/solve systems issues

  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions

  • Excellent Technical computer skills needed, Microsoft Office required

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good communication skills

  • Leadership skills

  • Team focus

  • Ability to follow direction from the Production Manager/Supervisor

  • Work Saturdays or overtime as needed

  • Wireless technology experience/knowledge a plus

Education:

  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
