ES is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to manage a large operational fleet of engine controls for Pratt and Whitney Canada engine programs. Field issue resolution and follow on design changes keep this position exciting.
The Program Manager will be responsible for program recurring and non-recurring cost, product development schedules, field risk mitigation; and periodic program updates. The candidate will be a customer interface and must be able to communicate, manage, and execute tasks that support the customers as well as UTAS. The individual must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment.
The Program Manager routinely engages with engineering, procurement, operations, finance, contracts, major suppliers, and the customer. The Program Manager must have good written/verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and resolve complex problems in a matrix organization.
7+ years of experience in program management, project engineering, or project management
Prior work experience related to Gas Turbine Engines is desirable
Frequent use of Microsoft office suite; Word/Excel/Project/Powerpoint is expected.
Experience should include strong track record of execution of complex projects or programs. Strong cross functional leadership skills and attention to detail are critical for this position. A demonstrated leadership capability and success in a cross functional team environment is also important. Travel required - 3 to 4 trips per year to Montreal for Customer meetings.
