The Operations Excellence organization in Electric, Environmental, and Engine Systems (ES) is seeking an Operations Data Manager to join our team. The selected candidate will lead the development of robust reports and analytical tools to support Operations in the areas of SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning), Materials, and Operations Performance. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of the leadership and communication skills necessary to interpret and translate the requirements of the business and the strong technical skills in data management and analytics to drive the development of reliable and effective tools that represent our key performance indicators. He or she will also be very process focused and drive for continuous improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities include:

-Provide leadership in the area of data management and reporting, working with functional leads to optimize processes

-Manage the collection and consolidation of demand, SIOP, inventory, and performance data from multiple global operations sites

-Provide analysis on trends, predict future results, and recommend opportunities

-Create improved and automated ways of collecting and managing data and reports

-Collaborate with other digital teams to support the development of robust tools and develop effective communications for key performance indicators

-Provide support in driving process maturity across OpsX key processes

Qualification:

7+ years of related experience required

Strong analytical skills

Communication, and cross functional collaboration skills

Strong skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

SAP including Business Objects

Database (Access or equivalent) knowledge

ACE & lean operations knowledge preferred

High energy and a strong work ethic
