Prepare documentation required to process shipment of domestic, international and government orders.

Take the lead in ensuring Government orders are processed through WAWF and shipped by required due date.

Generate invoice and bill back transportation freight charges where applicable.

We have an immediate need for a Transportation Specialist.

Duties and responsibilities of this position include:

Provide support to Customer Service, Purchasing, the Value Streams, and any other Departments requiring order status, shipping/tracking information.

Support the Cycle Counting Program through counting and investigations as requested.

Work daily reports on Pack not routed, Picked not packed, Received not put away and the Blocked stock report to ensure accuracy. Coordinate the daily list of what is due to ship to maximize daily OTD.

Work daily to release Export shipments held up in Customs due to documentation issues.

Ensure all Export requirements are met and documented per procedures.

Daily interaction with Carriers and internal customers is required.


Bachelors Degree plus a minimum of two years MRP experience

Demonstrated analytical ability

Excellent communication skills, able to interface with all levels of personnel

Advanced Excel skills required.

Working knowledge of planning business system operation, (SAP), and query report writer.

LP certification

Experience utilizing the Lean manufacturing process.
