Job Description: This position is for the Rockford, Illinois Co-op rotational program. This requires 3 sessions (semesters), alternating work and school. Must be willing to start either Fall 2017 or Spring 2018.
UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world’s largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. We design, manufacture and service systems and components and provide integrated solutions for commercial, regional, business, and military aircraft, helicopters and other platforms. We are also a major supplier to international space programs.
The UTC Aerospace Systems Co-operative Education Program is the cornerstone of the company’s college recruiting strategy. Students hired into this program represent our pipeline of talent- our future executives! This program provides opportunities for short term work assignments for students pursuing degree programs directly related to UTC Aerospace System’s core business.
Cooperative Education is a joint effort between business and education that combine classroom theory with career-related work experience. Through co-op assignments, students alternate semester of full-time study with semesters of full-time paid employment. Cooperative education is also designed to enhance a student’s academic training professional growth, and personal development. Co-op students must be enrolled and maintain a satisfactory academic standing in a formal Cooperative Education Program at their undergraduate institution.
