Working actively with CCS and Otis, UTC Building Solutions Group (BSG) helps to solve our customers’ most complex building projects. The group develops markets and sells repeatable, innovative solutions for key vertical segments. BSG partners with clients to offer custom-engineered building solutions and integrated building management systems by leveraging UTC’s 80-plus, industry-leading brands, including Carrier, Otis, Kidde, Automated Logic, Lenel and more.
This position will be responsible drive sales growth of UTC building solutions at selected enterprise accounts within the healthcare vertical leveraging the broad building systems portfolio of Otis & UTC Climate, Controls & Security. The candidate, in collaboration with UTC business units, will drive growth by calling on senior level building owners, developers, consulting engineers and contractors. He/she will develop and identify opportunities to engage with customers around UTC solutions and services.
Sales Strategy – Develop strategic growth plans to facilitate UTC building systems, solutions and services sales. Drive collaboration across business unit sales organizations to increase sales at enterprise accounts.
Customer Engagement – Build and strengthen key customer relationships with senior decision makers. Understand customers’ business needs and building solutions requirements. Help develop and execute on enterprise account plans to increase sales and share of wallet. Establish and expand presence by proactively building channels, sales, support capabilities, and managing major account relationships.
Strategic Marketing Plans – Drive and support strategic marketing efforts in target vertical market: assess market opportunities, evaluate customer needs and competitor offerings, identify potential UTC building solutions and services for customers, engage customers with a strong UTC value proposition and help execute marketing plans.
Building Solutions & Services – Collaborate with the engineering organization to identify, develop and deliver a suite of UTC building solutions and services to customers.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience developing and managing enterprise accounts
Ability to engage with senior executives for consultative sales
Experience in commercial and industrial industry preferred
Ability to lead multi-functional teams to resolve unusually complex problems
Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience. This includes the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
Strong negotiation skills; ability to understand contractual, legal language
Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Excellent project management skills and execution
Position is located in West Palm Beach, FL. Travel 40-60% of time is expected.
