The Technical Supervisor is responsible for all technical issues related to process development and production of engine components in the assigned Business Unit. The successful candidate will:

  • Lead business unit’s efforts to improve quality, process robustness & reduce turn backs

  • Accountable for process improvements/development utilizing ACE operating system

  • Work with production to ensure processes, enable material flow and standard work

  • Lead and execute on cost reduction initiatives and ENS strategies

  • Successfully manage the unit’s durable tooling and engineering labor budgets

  • Collaborate with program offices, component product teams, customer representatives and operations management

  • Develop business cases for cost reduction, new work initiatives & capital improvements projects and provide leadership to execute to plan



  • 5+ years of leadership experience in related engineering or technical field

  • 5+ years exposure to coatings technology, braze and heat treat processes, machining and/or manufacturing.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English


  • Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Hold current Repairman License or be able to acquire one.

  • Able to demonstrate analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Demonstrate skill and success in team leadership, facilitation and coaching skills

  • Working knowledge of shop practices, policies and procedures governing manufacturing engineering support requirements as well as work instruction documentation for manufacturing processes

  • Must be flexible relative to department assignment and availability for off-shift work

  • Demonstrate flexibility / adaptability in high stress, ambiguous assignments

  • Demonstrate ability to plan and prioritize

  • Strong computer skills
