Description:

This position is located within the Parts Distribution Center business segment.

  1. Responsible for producing sales results with assigned customers

  2. Logs sales calls and customer interactions

  3. Monitors assigned customer transactions and quotes on a daily basis

  4. Complies with Parts Distribution Department standard work

  5. Submits purchase requisitions

  6. Understands customer trends and updates the daily sales forecast

  7. Reviews RMA (Return Material Authorizations) requests

  8. Responds to all reports/actions within required timeframe

  9. Reviews all receiving shelves that pertain to the Business Segment

  10. Monitors and maintains action plans for all assigned customers

  11. Ensures hot sheets/status reports are reviewed and submitted per customer requirements

  12. Monitors and performs consignment reconciliation & inventory levels for assigned customers

  13. Prepares and sends core disposition notices to customers

  14. Flows down contractual and/or customer requirements to all affected parties

  15. Establishes KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to monitor customer health and reports performance to assigned manager

  16. Employs the ACE tools to drive continuous improvement and insures that standard work is current

  17. Understands the needs of the customer by maintaining full visibility of customer activities on a rolling basis including, but not limited to: RMAs, disputes, shortages, RAILs, conference call coordination, gathering and reporting via scorecards/dashboards

  18. Ensures timely response to operational needs and administrative tasks through guidance of team members

  19. Positively endorses the company position and products when faced with an adverse or negative situation with the customer

  20. Maintains a high standard of etiquette and protocol with the customer

Other Duties

  1. Handles varied customer requests or issues in a timely manner

  2. Travels as required

  3. Miscellaneous duties and assignments

Qualification:

The appropriate candidate will possess the following skills/experience:

Fluency in a foreign language preferred

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Experience building customer relationships and cultivating sales

Strong business acumen

Follow-up and follow-through skills with the ability to problem solve

A working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Attention to detail
