This position is located Pratt & Whitney AutoAir facility in Lansing MI. Selected candidates are expected to fulfill a broad range of Quality initiatives such as Testing and control of raw materials and finished product quality; ensuring compliance with company and customer standards and applicable regulations by the responsible governing authority.

The position objectives and responsibilities include:

Review of engineering documentation to ensure it contains the necessary quality assurance and customer provisions and criteria.

Serve as an issue resolution focal point that works with engineering, customer service support, and operations to drive continuous improvement in products and processes.

3D, non-contact, scanning experience required. Familiarity with Raindrop Geomagic, GOM/ATOS Scanning systems, DMIS protocol preferred.

Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities.

Determine the proper disposition of nonconforming material when participating in the Material Review Board (MRB) activities.

Perform as an integrated team leader with engineering, customer service support, and operations to investigate and correct various quality issues related to internal non-Conformances, product returns, supplier issues, customer complaints and corrective action requests with clear and concise reports to customers.

Participate on cross functional team projects to improve the overall organization and to develop a career path and leadership, with coaching and assistance by the Quality Manager.

Assist Document Control Clerk with the upkeep of controlled documentation to ensure compliance with the responsible governing authority.

Qualification: 1+ years of demonstrated quality experience within a work environment or educational projects.

Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, ISO and FAR 145.

Knowledge of Document Control and Calibration systems.

Ability to query data from SAP and Solumina database systems.

Able to interpret manufacturing drawings and 3D models.

3D, non-contact, scanning experience required. Familiarity with Raindrop Geomagic, GOM/ATOS Scanning systems, DMIS protocol preferred.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field required. Masters Degree preferred.
