RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary duties associated with this position are the direct efforts required to ensure the greatest possible operational up-time of the division’s equipment, with a target goal of 95 percent.

Specific responsibilities for this position include:

  • Diagnostics of equipment failures using Root Cause Analysis problem solving techniques

  • Execution of preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance and project work

  • Execution of reactionary maintenance (breakdown coverage)

  • Computerized data entry for work order tracking and processing

Qualification:

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years mechanical experience in an industrial environment

  • Industrial Technologies Degree or Machine Repairman Journey Worker Card preferred

  • Superior root cause problem solving techniques

  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems including reading flow schematics

  • Working knowledge of drive train gearing, gearboxes, gear reducers, bearings, seals, and shafts

  • Large stamping press maintenance is a plus

  • Proficient welding skills; welding certification preferred

  • Punctuality and safety oriented a must

Education:

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Industrial Technologies Degree or Machine Repairman Journey Worker Card, or equivalent
