The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of tracking Test Technician equipment development schedules and budget. The candidate must have the ability to plan and execute projects to completion on time at required performance levels. The role requires a clear understanding of system level test strategies, new product introductions, and sustaining test support for plants. It requires cross functional engagement in program meetings and ability to develop and provide input to cross functional schedules.


  • Manage department schedule and budget through the design, development, documentation of test equipment intended for remote factories

  • Coordinate the remote support of testers in regards to troubleshooting, ECOs and line down issues

  • Set overall department direction for: system level testing, standard work and training

  • Direct department activities in regards to budget, staffing

  • Requires technical understanding of system level test strategies

  • Approval of schedule and budget for production test equipment to be developed by outside vendors

  • Manage Test Technician tasks associated with cross functional and multi-site NPI projects

  • Ability to evaluate schedules, resources and challenges as required

  • Specify and/or recommend test approaches for: ICT, Functional, Final and RF test equipment

  • Review Operations tasks for NPIs including: costing, BOMs, builds

  • Ability to travel out of the country (estimated 20% of duties)



  • High level of multi-tasking abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project

  • Ability to interpret and create technical documents

  • Ability to create and maintain budget analysis

  • Must have the ability to define projects, deliver results according to a timeline, and execute to plan

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in writing and verbally, internally and externally
