This individual contributor position is responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships in a manner that will ensure that high quality material, equipment and services are available and aligned with the requirements of the new equipment business. The position will lead supplier selection efforts and negotiate supplier contracts in a manner consistent with the objectives of the business and within established corporate guidelines and parameters. The position will have responsibility for managing operations programs aimed at achieving cost reduction goals and for participating in programs aimed at improving supplier quality and delivery performance. The position will also be accountable for resolving systemic supplier quality and delivery problems.



  • Degree with minimum 6 years’ experience in supply chain/procurement with increasing levels of responsibility

  • MBA a plus

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to interact effectively at various levels within an organization with a logical and organized approach

  • Demonstrated knowledge of, or experience with lean manufacturing systems or Six Sigma

  • Knowledge of ERP configuration, manufacturing processes and systems

  • Demonstrated ability to drive teamwork between groups and across functional teams

  • Strategic planning/thinking skills coupled with analytical and execution skills

Experience with JD Edwards a plus
