  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. (both)

  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. (both)

  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. (both)

  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.

  • Terminate wires by point to point wiring

  • Close electrical circuits by terminating relay’s and dio’s and terminal boxes

  • Perform HiPot and Continuity testing to ensure all connections are complete

  • Attach labels to parts and verify assemblies for shipment are required

  • Apply graphics as needed

  • Review contract numbers and scan selected parts used in assembly per contract requirements

  • Wire electromechanical components to sub and major assemblies

  • Route and connect electrical wires and harnesses, terminate wires, crimp connectors.

  • Attach electrical components

  • Operate various hand and power tools i.e. soldering tools and crimping implements to meet assembly requirements and specifications

  • KPC Torque and and other KPC Process

  • Monitor, evaluate and maintain all equipment and inventory required to perform assembly functions

  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms

  • Actively participate in daily housekeeping

  • Utilize the ACE 5S principles to promote continuous improvement

  • Follow all EH&S and quality policies / procedures and plant rules

  • Attend daily tool box meetings

  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned

  • If item weighs more than 35 lbs., employee must ask for assistance in lifting and/or use the appropriate crane, forklift or other lifting devices
